WhatIsYourAddress.com is a satirical site. Nobody is coming to fight anyone. This page says what the site collects, why, who else handles it, and how to have it deleted.
Questions or requests: [email protected].
Fight requests. When you send a fight request, we store what you type into the form: the fighter you picked, your platform, game and username, your reason, and the address fields. We also store your IP address and browser user agent with the request, to deal with abuse.
Subscribers. When you subscribe, we store your gamer tag and your email. After payment we store your Stripe customer and subscription IDs and your subscription status. If you fill in your profile, we store your display name, bio, and the games and tags you list.
Your edit link. There are no accounts or passwords. After payment we create a private edit link for your profile. We store only a one-way hash of it, so we cannot read the link back. Your browser keeps a copy so you do not have to paste it each time.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
An active subscriber's gamer tag, display name, bio, games and join date are shown on the site. That is the product.
Addresses, emails, IP addresses and payment details are never shown on the site and no public endpoint returns them.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else, unless the law makes us.
We email a subscriber only to send their private edit link, when they ask for it on the manage page. Mail comes from [email protected]. We do not send marketing email.
We set no cookies of our own. Cloudflare can set cookies that it needs for security and the Turnstile bot check. The subscriber pages keep your edit link in your browser's local storage. Clear your site data to remove it.
We keep fight requests and subscriber records until someone asks us to delete them. When you cancel, your tag comes off the list, and we keep the record so that Stripe events and billing questions still match up.
Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete your data. This includes an address that someone else put in a fight request. Tell us the gamer tag or the address, and the email you subscribed with if you are a subscriber.
To delete a subscription, cancel it first in the billing portal from your profile page, so that Stripe stops charging you. We then delete your record. Stripe keeps its own payment records as the law requires.
The site is not meant for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you think a child has used the site, email us and we will delete it.
If we change this policy, we update this page and the date at the top.
